How often should I get a massage?
That is really going to depend on what your reason for getting a massage in the first place is and what you expect to get out of having massage.
Although most clients would like to get a regular massage in reality it can be difficult to fit in around the pressures of family and work life.
Most of my clients usually come for a massage when something feels uncomfortable, sore or bothersome. I do have clients who come in for a regular monthly or bimonthly massage and they definitely feel it keeps them feeling and functioning at their best.
If you're experiencing some new nagging aches and pains, just one or two sessions might be enough to make you feel better.
If you're trying to get help with a chronic issue, you'll probably find a series of treatments works best and maybe ongoing regular maintenance would be helpful.
